The Rudenis tree is characterized by medium vigor, a dense conical crown, and high yield. The variety possesses good winter hardiness and is suitable for commercial and organic horticulture, while various rootstocks can be used to regulate growth and productivity.

Fruits ripen in the first half of September and retain consumer quality until November when stored at temperatures of +1…+2 °C. Apples have a conical shape, an average weight of about 123 g, yellowish skin with a red blush, and cream-colored flesh. The variety possesses resistance to scab (races 1–5) and phyllostictosis.
