The Ruggina Estiva variety is a folk selection identified during an inventory of old fruit crops in Italy. It is included in the regional register of Tuscany and the National Database of Agrobiodiversity of agricultural and food interest.
Specialized agronomic data, such as morphological characteristics of the fruit or disease resistance, are absent in open publications. Traditionally, the variety was used for local consumption.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
