The tree of this variety is distinguished by weak growth and forms a small crown. The variety is early, with fruits ripening in August, predominantly in the second and third ten-day periods of the month. The tree can act as a pollinator for other apple varieties.

The fruits are medium to large in size, with a slightly angular and ribbed shape at the calyx. The ground skin color is yellow-green, and the overcolor is intense dark red in the form of stripes or a diffuse marbled pattern. The flesh has a sweet-and-sour taste, moderate aroma, and, according to some data, a coarse-grained consistency. The storage period of the fruits is about two to three weeks.

The variety possesses sufficient resistance to scab and powdery mildew.
