Tree 4–5 meters in height with a semi-open spreading or spherical crown 3–4 meters wide. Leaves are glossy, purple-green, turning red-orange shades in autumn; leaves are often three-lobed in shape.
Flowering occurs in May; flowers are simple, light pink or deep pink in color. Small decorative fruits up to 1 cm in size change color from green to red-purple as they ripen and persist on the branches until October.
The variety possesses high resistance to diseases, air pollution, and roadside conditions. Winter hardiness zone 5A–8B, withstands frosts down to -30°C. The plant is used as a specimen tree or as part of decorative groups in parks and gardens.
