Trees grafted on G 11 are comparable in vigor to M9, although they may exhibit slightly higher growth energy. Due to its dwarf nature and root system characteristics, the trees require mandatory support or a trellis.
The plant possesses moderately high resistance to fire blight and good resistance to Phytophthora root rot, while being susceptible to woolly apple aphid. The rootstock tolerates transplanting well, is resistant to replant disease, and produces few root suckers.
