Trees are medium-sized, reaching a height of 4.5–5.5 meters, with a rounded or oval crown of medium density. Fruits weighing 120–280 g have a oblate-round or conical shape. The skin is thin and smooth, yellow-green in color, becoming pale yellow during storage, sometimes with a reddish blush.
The flesh is light cream or yellowish-white, firm and juicy, and possesses a distinct sweet-and-sour taste without a pronounced aroma. The variety shows low drought tolerance and can be affected by the apple ermine moth and codling moth.
The variety is a winter type; fruits ripen in the period from August to November. In the past, it was actively used for breeding purposes, in particular in the development of the 'Богатырь' variety.
