The tree is distinguished by a dense spherical crown with thin branches that have a tendency toward a weeping form. Leaves are small, elongated-ovate, dark green, acquiring a yellow or pinkish-orange hue in the autumn.
Flowers are simple, up to 3.5 cm in diameter, becoming white upon opening from pinkish buds. Fruits are small, spherical, 1.5–2 cm in diameter, yellow-orange or dark orange in color, ripening in mid-season.
The variety possesses resistance to diseases and is used for ornamental purposes in landscaping parks and gardens. Fruits are not commercial and are not intended for human consumption.
