This hybrid form is a natural result of cross-pollination between the Manchurian crabapple and Siebold's crabapple. The plant is a vigorous tree with dense wood and a pyramidal crown shape. Within 15-20 years, trees can reach sizes of up to 6-7 meters, and mature specimens are capable of growing up to 12 meters in height.
The hybrid possesses high winter hardiness, withstanding temperatures down to -40°C, and also demonstrates drought tolerance and resistance to pests and diseases. Due to small fruits that lack dessert qualities, the plant is used primarily in landscape gardening and breeding.
