The tree is medium-sized, from 2 to 5 meters in height, with a neat rounded crown. The variety possesses high winter hardiness and good resistance to scab and fire blight. It is self-fertile and serves as an effective pollinator for other apple varieties.
Fruits weighing 25–60 g have a round-conical or elongated shape. The firm glossy skin turns dark red upon ripening with a waxy bloom. The flesh is juicy, with a sweet-and-sour taste and a tart aftertaste.
The variety is late-maturing: fruits ripen in September and can be stored until February. The produce is suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for processing into juices, jams, and jellies. Due to its decorative flowering and bright fruiting, it is used in landscape design.
