The tree reaches 3–6 meters in height with a comparable crown width. The leaves are narrow-ovate with serrated edges and change color to bronze, copper, orange, or red tones in the autumn period. The plant produces sparse, small, inedible fruits.
Flowering occurs in late spring. Double, pale pink fragrant flowers are gathered in inflorescences and emerge from bright pink buds. The variety has winter hardiness and resistance to powdery mildew. Prefers well-drained soils, is demanding of moisture conditions, and does not tolerate waterlogging.
