The variety is a clone of the apple tree Jonagold. The fruit shape and size are similar to the original variety, and the fruit quality is identical to Jonagold. The main feature is earlier skin coloration, with the color appearing as wide bright red stripes on a yellow background.
The tree is similar in vigor and resistance characteristics to the parent variety Jonagold. The variety belongs to the group of winter or late-autumn apple trees, however, due to early coloration, the fruit may be ready for harvest earlier than the original variety. The purpose of the fruit is dessert, for fresh consumption.
