A medium-sized tree, capable of reaching a height of up to 12 meters. The foliage has a bronze-green hue when emerging. The variety belongs to the category of ornamental crabapple trees and was obtained as a result of hybridization of Malus pumila var. Niedzwetzkyana and Malus baccata.
The plant demonstrates high resistance to apple scab, which is confirmed by long-term observations. At the same time, the variety is characterized by a pronounced susceptibility to fire blight, which limits its use in some collections.
