The mature tree reaches a height of 4–6 meters, sometimes up to 8 meters. The crown is upright or pyramidal at a young age, becoming rounded with drooping branches as it matures. Leaves are broad-elliptic, copper-red when budding, dark green with a bronze tint in summer, and bright yellow with red-pink margins in autumn.

Flowers are large, 2.5–4.5 cm in diameter, bright pink or pink-red, with abundant blooming in May. Fruits are small, 1.5–2.5 cm in diameter, weighing 20–40 g, spherical, yellow-orange with a red blush. They ripen in August–September and can remain on the branches for a long time until winter.

The variety possesses high winter hardiness, withstanding temperatures down to -35℃, and is suitable for cultivation in the central region. It is characterized by resistance to scab and other diseases. The fruits are technically edible, have a sweet and sour taste, sometimes with astringency, but the primary purpose of the variety is ornamental landscaping.
