The tree reaches a height of 4–6 meters. In young saplings, the crown grows vertically, eventually becoming rounded with potential weeping branch outlines. Leaves are broadly elliptical, 3–5-lobed; in spring they have a purple-reddish hue, in summer they turn green, and in autumn they turn yellow.
Flowering occurs in April–May with large pink flowers 2.5 to 4.5 cm in diameter. In September, small spherical yellow-orange fruits with a blush ripen, characterized by a sweet-and-sour taste with astringency. The variety is characterized by resistance to diseases, including scab, and high winter hardiness down to -35°C.
