The plant has a broadly spreading, irregularly shaped crown. Leaves are ovate or elliptical; on vegetative shoots, they can be three-lobed; young leaves have a reddish tint, later turning green. The variety produces small ornamental fruits.
Flowers are light pink with darker veining on the outside. During flowering, the tree is densely covered with flowers that almost completely hide the foliage. The plant is distinguished by high frost resistance and has been successfully cultivated in Moscow conditions for decades.
