The variety is widely cultivated in the central regions of Greece and in the northwest of the Peloponnese peninsula, specifically in the regions of Argolis, Corinthia, Phocis, Boeotia, and Phthiotis. The fruits have a small, round shape and are characterized by a pleasant taste with a slight bitterness.
The plant is hardy, capable of growing in rocky soils and at high altitudes where other varieties do not perform well. The trees demonstrate resistance to cold climates and have a tendency toward alternate bearing.
The oil obtained from this variety is distinguished by a mild taste, a balanced profile, and a fruity aroma with notes of freshly cut grass. The variety ripens relatively slowly, and harvest timing depends on whether the fruits are intended for oil production or as table olives.
