The variety belongs to the "Verdeal" group, which indicates a high chlorophyll content in the fruits. It is characterized by later flowering and high efficiency of fat biosynthesis. Oil from the fruits of this variety has fruity-spicy notes and a slight bitterness, and the fruits themselves are also used in canned form.

The plant has low susceptibility to the olive fruit fly and olive knot (tuberculosis of the olive), as well as moderate resistance to olive leaf spot ("gafa"). The variety is poorly suited for mechanized harvesting using trunk shakers. Pollen of this variety is characterized by increased IgE reactivity in allergic individuals.
