Variety description

The plant reaches a height of 120–135 cm and belongs to the aureum variety. The panicle is semi-drooping, compact, and well-grained. The caryopsis is large, rounded, with a thousand kernel weight of 7.6–8.1 g.

The variety possesses resistance to lodging and shattering. It has high immunity to smut races common in Ukraine; the level of melanosis infection varies from 0.1% to 2.2%. Potential yield reaches 7 t/ha.

Technological indicators include a groat yield of 82.9% with a hull content of 16.6%. The groats have a bright yellow color. The variety is intended for use in the food industry and is recommended for cultivation in the Steppe and Polesia zones.
