The variety is mid-season, with a vegetation period lasting about 75 days. The plant possesses high resistance to damage by the panicum midge and high resistance to smut diseases, being affected by only 1–3 races out of 12 known.
The grain of the variety is characterized by a high groat yield (83.2%), low husk content (12.9%), and a protein content of 13.6%. With proper agrotechnology, the yield is 5–6 t/ha. The variety is intended for grain use and is recommended for cultivation in the Polissya and Forest-Steppe zones.
