The variety is mid-season, the growing season ranges from 84 days in the southern regions to 106 days in other regions. Yield potential varies within 21–65 c/ha.

The plant possesses resistance to bacterial leaf spot and several races of smut. The grain belongs to the large-grained category, characterized by reduced husk content, high protein and carotenoid content.

Under stress conditions, the variety demonstrates high drought tolerance, manifesting in intensive development of the root system in relation to the above-ground part.
