The tree is vigorous with a wide rounded crown. It belongs to early varieties; ripening usually occurs in late May to early June. In the first years after planting, there is a late onset of fruiting and relatively low yield.
The fruits are medium or large, with a weight of about 6 g, heart-shaped. The flesh is blood-red, firm, juicy, with good taste qualities. The variety has sufficient winter hardiness and good transportability.
The variety is self-incompatible; the Burlat variety is required for pollination. Today, it is found more often in collection orchards than in industrial plantations.

Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
