The variety belongs to the Bigarreau group and is characterized by a vigorous tree with a spreading, spherical or oval-pyramidal crown. Plant height depends on the rootstock type and varies from 3–4 to 7–8 meters or more.

Fruits are large, weighing 5–8 g, sometimes up to 10 g, and have a heart-shaped or round form. Skin color varies from light yellow with a blush to dark maroon depending on the subtype. The flesh is firm and juicy; fruits ripen from late June to July.

The variety is self-incompatible and requires pollinators. It is characterized by moderate winter hardiness and resistance to a number of diseases, but is susceptible to fruit rot and cherry fruit fly. It has a universal purpose: fresh consumption and processing.
