The fruits of this variety are characterized by exceptional taste and belong to the group of firm-fleshed sweet cherries. The variety matures in the first or second "cherry week" and is valued as one of the best dark early sweet cherries.
The tree is vigorous, requiring significant space to form a spreading crown. The variety is demanding of growing conditions, requiring a warm climate without late spring frosts and fertile, permeable soils.
The variety is intended for fresh consumption, canning, and potential processing for distillates.
