The variety is mid-season; flowering occurs in April, and fruit ripening in June. Tree height depends on the rootstock used. The variety is characterized by low susceptibility to diseases.

Fruits are large, dark-red or brownish-red in color, possess firm, juicy flesh and a sweet taste. The variety is intended for table use.

The plant is not self-fertile and requires pollinator varieties flowering in the same period. The variety itself can also act as a pollinator for other sweet cherry types. It prefers loose, fertile soils and does not tolerate waterlogged or heavy soils.
