Variety description

The Polli rubiin tree is of medium height with a rounded crown and upward-pointing branches. The medium-sized fruits are characterized by a dark red color, heart shape, and juicy, soft flesh of the same color. The stone separates easily from the flesh, and the taste of the fruits is sweet-and-sour.

The variety ripens in the second week of July and possesses good winter hardiness. It is self-sterile and genetically belongs to the incompatibility group LXIV (S3-S17), therefore requiring the presence of pollinator varieties. The vitamin C content is approximately 12.7–13 mg%.
