This form of cherry is an old local variety common in the Val di Susa valley. The tree is characterized by a spreading crown shape and is assessed as medium-low vigor.

The fruits belong to the type of cherries with sour pulp. They are suitable for fresh consumption and for the preparation of preserves. The plant is not a commercial variety with officially registered characteristics of yield or disease resistance.
