The tree is characterized by weak to medium growth, often forming a drooping or rounded crown. The variety is self-fertile and does not require additional pollinators; it is considered undemanding regarding growing conditions, but it tolerates drought and heat poorly and is susceptible to Monilinia.

The fruits are large, with a weight of about 5.3 g, and have a round or slightly oval shape. Upon full ripening, the skin turns a dark red, almost black color. The flesh is soft and very juicy, possessing a pronounced sour taste with a high sugar content.

The variety is classified as a processing type and is intended for industrial processing. The fruits are widely used for the preparation of preserves, jams, fillings for baked goods, liqueurs, and brandy.
