Variety description

The variety is an accidental seedling found near the city of Újfehértó. The tree is of medium vigor up to 3 meters with a dense semicircular crown and numerous fruiting branches. It enters into bearing in the 2–3rd year; yields are abundant but can be irregular.

Fruits are large, weighing 6–8 g, round in shape, dark red or burgundy-brown in color with juicy, firm flesh of sweet and sour taste. The variety matures in mid-July and possesses high transportability and good resistance to diseases, in particular to bacterial canker and leaf spot.

The plant possesses good winter hardiness and resistance to spring frosts. The variety is partially self-fertile; for increasing yields, planting of pollinators is recommended, such as «Nefris», «Łutówka» or «Kelleris 16».
