Hadsundbær is a synonym for a group of cherries that also includes the varieties Stevnsbær, Løvskal, and Heeringbær. There are no morphological or agronomic differences between these forms, and in Danish agricultural literature, it is customary to group them under the collective name Stevnsbær.
Fruits of this type are small, dark-colored, and ripen in the second half of August. The plants are characterized by high resistance, adaptability to various soil types, and suitability for mechanized harvesting. Due to the high quality of the dark juice, this cherry type is traditionally used in industrial processing.
