The Łutówka 226 ISK tree is characterized by medium vigor. The crown is sparse; without regular pruning, the branches have a tendency to become bare.
The variety is self-fertile and relatively winter hardy. Resistance to fungal diseases, in particular to Coccomyces hiemalis, is assessed inconsistently, as opinions on this indicator in the literature vary.
The fruits are large and colored dark red. The flesh is juicy with a pronounced sour taste, which makes the variety suitable for freezing, the production of juices, jams, and other preserves.
