The tree grows vigorously in the initial period, later the growth rate slows down. It forms a wide, spherical, well-branched and dense crown with stiff branches and numerous fruiting spurs. The variety enters bearing early, often in the 2–3rd year after planting, and is self-fertile.

Fruits are medium-sized, weighing about 5–6 g, spherical and slightly flattened in shape. The skin and juice are dark red, the flesh is sweet and sour and tender. Due to the easy detachment of the fruits from the pedicel, the variety is suitable for mechanical harvesting.

The variety possesses high disease resistance, including low susceptibility to Coccomyces hiemalis and bacterial canker, and medium susceptibility to Monilinia. It is winter-hardy and capable of adapting to various growing conditions, including sandy soils.
