The fruits of the variety are medium-sized, glossy, dark red, almost black in color, and have a sour taste. The plant is characterized by compact growth, the height of which depends on the rootstock used.
The variety is self-fertile and does not require external pollinators, while it can act as a pollinator for other self-sterile cherry varieties. It is distinguished by good resistance to diseases, in particular to branch dieback.
