The variety is classified as mid-late and is frost-resistant. The fruits have good baking qualities, which makes the variety suitable for culinary use and processing. Due to increased susceptibility to fungal diseases of the genus Valsa, cultivation in dry regions is preferable. The variety is also used as an ornamental crop and as a parent form in breeding programs.
