The variety Bărdace de Cotnari is a representative of the indigenous Romanian genetic pool. In scientific research, it is classified as a genetic resource maintained in the RIFG Pitești-Mărăcineni collection and is considered a promising progenitor for breeding.
The economic characteristics of the variety are described as limited: the variety is characterized by insufficient productivity and susceptibility to diseases, including Monilinia. Morphological traits of the fruit are evaluated within scientific databases, however, a detailed description of agronomic parameters in open sources is presented fragmentarily.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
