The tree is vigorous, with a semi-open crown and steeply upward-growing branches, reaching a height of 6–8 meters. The variety is self-fertile and begins bearing fruit later than modern cultivars, which contributes to better strengthening of the branches before the start of full-scale fruiting.
The fruits are oval-shaped, weigh 70 g or more, and are covered with a pronounced bloom. The flesh is firm, sweet-and-sour, and relatively dry, which makes the variety intended for culinary processing and baking. The stone is difficult to separate.
The variety possesses high resistance to diseases, cold, and wind, and grows well in areas with a lack of sunlight and on northern slopes.
