Variety description

10 August 2026

The rootstock is a hybrid of Prunus domestica, obtained by crossing the varieties Reine Claude d'Althan and Reine Claude de Bavay. Its primary use is for growing apricot in intensive orchards and on trellises.

Plants on this rootstock have moderate vigor, trailing behind the GF 655-2 rootstock in this indicator. They are characterized by good adaptation to heavy clay soils, as they exhibit high resistance to root asphyxiation and are not prone to gall formation.

The rootstock promotes early entry into fruiting and ensures high-quality yields. It is distinguished by high compatibility with most apricot varieties; however, it is incompatible with many peach and nectarine varieties.
