The tree is vigorous, reaches a height of up to 5 meters, forms an oval, spreading and sparse crown. The variety is precocious, entering fruiting in the 3rd–4th year after planting, and is characterized by high yield.

Fruits weighing from 60–70 to 100 g have a broadly oval shape, dark purple, almost black color with an intense bluish waxy bloom. The flesh is yellow, firm and juicy, the stone is difficult to separate.

The variety possesses high winter hardiness, withstanding temperatures down to –32 °C…–34 °C, and good resistance to Clasterosporium carpophilum, gummosis, scab, rust, Coccomyces hiemalis and Monilinia. It is considered self-fertile, suitable for fresh consumption, processing and drying.
