The variety is classified as early-mid or summer-maturing, ripening from the end of July to the beginning of August. The tree is weak to medium in vigor, up to 6–7 meters in height, with short branches. The variety is characterized as hardy, adapting to dry, heavy, and calcareous soils, provided there is no water stagnation. High disease resistance is noted.
Fruiting may be irregular by year. Both self-fertile and self-sterile forms occur. The fruits are small, weighing up to 30 g, egg-shaped, with thin golden-yellow skin and juicy sweet flesh. The stone separates easily. The variety is used for fresh consumption, as well as for drying and processing into jams, preserves, and liqueurs.
