Variety description

10 August 2026

The Brněnská variety (synonym Špička) is an old variety of unknown origin. The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption and for various types of culinary processing.

The tree grows vigorously at a young age, with growth slowing down over time, forming a small funnel-shaped crown. The variety is self-fertile. The ripening period is early, occurring in mid-July.

The fruits are small, oblong, covered with dark blue skin with a whitish-gray waxy bloom. The flesh is greenish-yellow, juicy, and the stone separates well from the flesh.
