Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is a synonym for the plum Brněnská, also found under the names Špička, Aninka, and Berneirská. The tree grows vigorously at a young age, later the growth slows down, forming a small funnel-shaped or small spherical crown.

The variety is self-fertile, very productive, begins to bear fruit in the third year, and is characterized by regular fruiting. It possesses high winter hardiness; the fruits ripen in mid-July.

The fruits are small, elongated in shape, sometimes with beveled ends. The skin is dark blue, covered with a waxy bloom. The flesh is greenish-yellow in color, juicy and tender; the stone separates well from the flesh. The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption and processing.
