Variety description

The plant features a dense vertical crown. An adult shrub reaches a height of 2.5–3 meters with a width of 0.7–1.2 meters. Leathery dark green leaves contrast with bright orange-red young shoots.

Flowering occurs in April–May with upright racemes of pinkish-white flowers. After flowering, black glossy fruits are formed. All parts of the plant are toxic.

The variety is characterized by high disease resistance and good shrub structure. Winter hardiness is down to -22 °C…-23 °C. Intended for use in landscape design as a solitaire plant or for forming hedges.
