The rootstock is a hybrid of Prunus domestica, obtained as a result of crossing Reine Claude varieties (Reine Claude 994 × Reine Claude de Bavay). It is intended for use as a base for grafting plum and apricot varieties, ensuring compact tree size.
Plants on this rootstock possess good compatibility with most varieties and exhibit high resistance to root asphyxia and certain types of nematodes. A specific feature of the rootstock is the slowing of spring sap flow, which contributes to shifting flowering dates and reduces the risk of frost damage.
