The rootstock is a hybrid of Prunus persica and Prunus davidiana species. It possesses high growth vigor, which is often compared to the performance of the GF 677 rootstock. A powerful root system ensures reliable anchorage in the soil and good drought tolerance.
The plant adapts well to various soil types, including alkaline and calcareous ones, and is also resistant to waterlogging and soil fatigue. Due to its resistance to root-knot nematodes, the rootstock is suitable for use in areas where stone fruits have been previously grown. Trees grafted onto it show high productivity; however, due to intensive growth, they require vegetation control through pruning.
