The tree is of medium height, forming a broad pyramidal crown of medium density. The variety is cross-pollinated. It enters production in the 4–5th year after planting, or the 3rd year when using quince rootstock.

The fruits are pear-shaped and weigh 110–180 g. The color at maturity is yellow with brick-red stripes. The flesh is yellowish-white, fine-grained, very juicy and sweet. Harvesting occurs in early September, and the shelf life is 2–3 weeks.

The variety is resistant to scab, but may be affected by moniliosis during rainy periods. Winter hardiness is medium; in severe winters, trees may be insufficiently resistant to low temperatures.
