Pyrus communis L. European pear · Fruit crops

Variety description

10 August 2026

Fruits are medium to large in size, pear-shaped or conical. The skin is yellow-green, and a reddish blush is possible upon ripening. The flesh is buttery, juicy, sweet, and aromatic. The consumption period is limited to a short window of about 10 days after harvest, as the fruits quickly become mealy.

The tree is vigorous, forming a broad pyramidal crown with drooping shoots. The variety is weakly susceptible to scab but may show sensitivity to fire blight and rust. There is a possibility of confusion with a "false" form of the variety, which differs in leaf morphology and the presence of lenticels on the fruits.
