The tree is characterized by vigorous growth and forms a conical crown, the branches of which tend to bend in an arc under the weight of the crop. The variety shows good wood winter hardiness, is resistant to scab, and is undemanding regarding soil type, although it is sensitive to moisture deficiency.

The fruits are medium-sized, barrel-shaped, and have smooth greenish skin with small dots. The flesh is juicy, sweet, and buttery, with a light cinnamon aroma. The variety is self-incompatible and requires the presence of pollinators for regular fruiting.

The fruits reach consumer maturity in early September shortly after harvesting. The variety is primarily for dessert use, suitable for fresh consumption, drying, and processing.
