The tree is medium-sized, forming a spreading crown. Fruiting of the variety begins in the fifth year after planting. The best pollinator for this variety is Clapp's Favorite.
Fruits are large, weighing 250–300 g, and have an elongated bottle shape. The skin is smooth, shiny, and changes color from greenish-yellow to straw-yellow upon ripening. The fruit flesh is light cream, juicy and crisp, with a wine-sweet taste and aroma.
The variety is a winter one: harvesting occurs in mid-October, and consumption maturity is reached in mid-November. Fruits store until December, and in cold storage, until January-February. The variety shows resistance to diseases, in particular to scab, and is intended for fresh consumption.
