CH 201
ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
The fruits are medium to large in size, pear-shaped or obtuse-conical. The skin is yellow-green in color, often covered with a brownish blush and slight russeting. The flesh has a greenish-white hue, is very juicy, buttery, sweet, and has a pleasant aroma. The variety ripens in September.
The tree is vigorous, with a spreading crown and drooping branches. The variety is triploid and self-incompatible; it requires pollinator varieties for fruit set. Fruiting occurs partially at the ends of the shoots.
The plant is considered sufficiently winter-hardy and productive, however, it may show sensitivity to scab. To obtain high-quality fruits, it is recommended to grow the variety in warm, protected locations.
