The variety is a hybrid of the varieties Delbias and Passe Crassane. It belongs to the autumn maturity group, with the harvest collected from September to mid-October.
The plant is most often sold as a dwarf form, the height of which does not exceed 1.5 meters, which allows the variety to be grown in containers or small gardens. The fruits have golden-yellow or green-brown skin and juicy, aromatic flesh.
The variety is considered relatively undemanding and adapts well to urban conditions, however, it shows sensitivity to late spring frosts. It may be encountered under the synonyms Delbard d’Automne and Goldember.
