The tree reaches a height of 4 to 6 meters. The fruits are large, having a classic pear-shaped or round-pear shape. Upon ripening, the skin changes color from light green to golden yellow, sometimes with the appearance of a pinkish blush.
The flesh is white in color, with a buttery texture, very juicy, and has a distinct aroma. The variety is partially self-fertile; pollinators are required to increase yields. It is consumed primarily in fresh form as a dessert product after storing the fruits for 40–45 days.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
